If you already possess technical knowledge and have a desire to extend it, if you are able to read between the code lines, you have all chances to find yourself in the team of Nicolas, technical director at Netsize, who himself joined Netsize as a trainee in 1999. "Each year we receive students on internships. As we are not a large corporation, we have a personal approach for each trainee, guide him during his internship, let him participate actively in a product's realization, and help him integrate in our team". Many employees in his team were hired after having proved their skills during internships.
"We offer students long term internships, 6 months or longer. During this period our trainees take over full responsibility of their mission and we are also flexible to adapt the assigned project according to their skills and interest.
Our interns often stay with us after the training on permanent contract basis, of course, taking into consideration their performance and company business needs, "- confirms Christine, Netsize Human Resources.
You may wonder now, what kind of work you are able to do if you choose Netsize (because your friends' horrifying stories about distributing office correspondence and sending faxes do not inspire you at all).
"Trainees perform the same technical tasks as the other developers.They work on development methods and architecture standards with their teams. They develop products in object-oriented languages C++, C#; Flash Flex, and Silverlight", tells Nicolas. Another important aspect, according to his observations, is that Netsize has saved its start-up spirit: "Working in a dynamic, open and innovative atmosphere allows young people to follow a product's life cycle from its conception, customer's needs analysis to development itself and further maintenance of the application after its integration. It also enales cooperating with different internal departments as marketing, sales, and communication".

Cedric, who is now a development engineer in the Swedish Netsize office, recalls:"I chose Netsize because of the company's profile: mobile services and international activities.
Here I got a lot of new technical knowledge as before I hadn't mastered all programming languagesthat are necessary in Netsize. Besides, I could polish up my English, as I worked with international clients, and I continued as an employee".
Martin, a development assistant, makes already his second internship with Netsize: "I decided on Netsize because of its offer: they looked for a trainee-developer for web and .Net technologies, a domain that interests me a lot and matched my engineering studies.
Thanks to the internship I managed to improve my development skills. I hope to continue my career at Netsize, as I do think that I can evolve here".

"Once a trainee is employed, his professional evolution is not over: grow up to a management position, move to a project management or become a development specialist, or moreover, join another department like Information systems", Nicolas remarks.
